Recent developments in technology and communication have assisted the progress of medical education through non-formal channels as well. E-learning or learning through online media has come up as a feasible solution to train medical doctors using cutting edge technologies. There have been rapid changes in the healthcare sector, and with the advancement of biomedical sciences, expectations of the society have also changed.

Online learning for medical students comes in handy when a new skill set is required by the graduates or the practitioners or to keep abreast of the rapid developments in the field of medicine.   1. 6. Dr S. Arul Rhaj – Dr Arul Rhaj, is a brilliant scholar, academician, and doctor from Tuticorin, Tamilnadu. He has won the “Best Doctor award ” from the Tamilnadu Government and several renowned awards in Cardiology and Medicine for his research work, both at the national and the international levels.
