Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) is a premier educational institution in the Philippines, particularly in the field of allied health sciences. Valenzuela houses the University’s main campus. A number of campus buildings are located nearby the National Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima. In this location, there is the College of Hospitality and Institutional Management, College of Maritime Education, and Basic Education Department. A lot of foreign students come to study in all these campuses.
Metro Quezon City and Downtown Manila can be easily accessed from Valenzuela Campus. Also, a metro train terminal is available for commuting and takes around 15-20 minutes to reach the campus.
Valenzuela City has a tropical climate and receives significant rainfall during most months of the year. It is very warm and humid during from June–November.
OLFU was founded by Jose Olivares and his son-in-law, Dr. Vicente M. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Jose Olivares was a Chemistry professor at Ateneo de Manila University and the University of the Philippines. Dr. Santos graduated from the University of Santo Tomas. In the four decades of his career in obstetrics and gynecology, he delivered more than 96,000 babies! .
Initially OLFU was a hospital by the name Our Lady of Fatima Hospital and was the primary provider of healthcare services for people of Valenzuela. Later it was recognized by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines (CHED) and was granted an autonomous status of a university.
The College of Medicine of Our Lady of Fatima University is accredited by the New York State Education Department, which allows the students of fourth year to complete their clerkship in accredited training hospitals in New York, hospitals under Illinois State Board of Education, Thailand Medical Council, and the Maldives Medical Council.
OLFU is the only medical school in the Philippines to offer its students an institution-to-institution Clerkship Training Program with foreign hospitals. More than hundred students from OLFU were sent to a number of hospitals abroad such as Jackson Park Hospital in Chicago, Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, and Peninsula Hospital Center in New York to undergo clinical training.
The College of Medicine of Our Lady of Fatima University is listed with the WHO. It is also a local Member Institution – Association of Philippine Medical Colleges, Inc. (APMC)

Foreign students seeking admission to The College of Medicine of Our Lady of Fatima University, will have to produce the following documents:
After the application is submitted, the college authority will notify the applicant, only if all the documents are produced and all the criteria are fulfilled. Once the applicant is selected, he/she will have to appear for an interview. The final step of the admission procedure will end after the applicant clears the interview and he/she will be provided with an acceptance letter.

Hostel accommodation and food is available off-campus, just opposite the university. It is highly secured and offers well-furnished rooms equipped with fans, lights, geysers, and washing machines.
The OLFU campus has state of the art facilities which includes classrooms equipped with projectors and screens, amphitheater for various events, etc.
