Parul Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, popularly known as PIMSR is the leading private medical college in Vadodara, Gujarat. PIMSR admits approximately150 students annually into their Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course. Students who have passed 12th grade in the science stream having physics, chemistry and biology as their core subjects are eligible to apply for the undergraduate course in medicine.
Candidates should secure at least 50% of marks (general category) or 40 % (reserved category) in their 12th grade to become eligible for applying to an undergraduate course.
Candidates are shortlisted based on their NEET entrance score (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – all India entrance examination for admission into medical colleges). General category students must secure minimum 50 percentile in the NEET entrance examination whereas 40 percentiles will suffice for reserved category candidates.
Admission to medical colleges is secured only through NEET entrance examination and registering with NEET is simple, smooth and online.

MBBS programme extends for over a period of 4.5 years consisting of 9 semesters followed by one year of rotating internship. Clinical postings will be assigned in each semester at different departments spread across 9 semesters. The entire course of 5.5 years will approximately cost around 95 lacks, and Rs.85000/- per annum is charged towards hostel and mess fees.
