Correction of NEET UG Application Form

Regarding Image Correction

  • For candidates who need to correct the image uploaded: Go to the ‘NEET candidate login’ link.
  • Enter the application number followed by the password received at the time of filling the application form.
  • You will find an option to upload the photograph/signature displayed on the screen. Click on that to upload your photograph/signature.
  • Make sure to upload the correct image as per the specifications and then verify it once before submission.
  • Once you have submitted, you will receive an OTP on your registered phone number and email ID. Please enter the OTP.
  • After you have entered the OTP, NEET correction slip will be displayed on the screen.
  • You may take a screenshot of the same or take a print copy for future references.

Regarding Application Form Correction

For candidates who need to make corrections in their application form, they may follow the steps given below to rectify the mistakes made in personal field, address field, category field, or any other details.

  • Use your credentials—registration number and password to login to NEET.
  • Look for the button ‘Click Here for corrections in NEET 2019 application’ and click on it.
  • Modify or change the details in the form and click on ‘preview and submit’.
  • An OTP will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.
  • Once you receive the OTP, enter it.
  • A correction slip will be generated.
  • Take a print copy of the correction slip using the ‘Print’ button provided on the screen.
  • Candidates should preserve the print copy of the correction slip for future reference.

If a candidate wants to change his/her category from reserved (SC/T/PH) to General, the candidate will have to pay a different amount using online payment services. However, no refund is applicable if a candidate changes the category from general to reserved.

The NEET UG Admit Card

The NEET UG admit card is released online a month before the examination. It is available to prospective NEET UG candidates who have successfully filled out the application form. You may follow the steps mentioned below to obtain the admit card:

  • To download the admit card, the candidate will have to visit the designated link on the National Testing Agency website.
  • The candidate will have to enter the security pin, registration number, and password which was received during the submission of the application form.
  • After entering the information, candidates will be able to download the PDF version of the NEET UG admit card.
  • The NEET UG admit card for the respective candidates will also be mailed to the candidate’s registered email ID.

In the NEET UG admit card, certain specific details about the candidate and the examination are mentioned. Please check the following details carefully:

  • Name of the candidate
  • Roll number of the candidate
  • Registration number of the candidate
  • Date and slot timings of the examination
  • Name of candidate’s father
  • Name of candidate’s mother
  • Date of Birth of Candidate
  • Gender of Candidate
  • Category of Candidate
  • Sub-category of Candidate
  • Address of the Candidate
  • Medium selected by candidate for the question paper
  • Name of the Exam Centre
  • Complete address of the Exam Centre
  • Signature of the candidate
  • The IP address, date, and time of downloading of the NEET UG admit card

Frequently Asked Questions regarding NEET UG Admit Card

  • How to retrieve NEET UG admit card?

In case a candidate loses his/her admit card, it can be downloaded from the registered email ID. A copy of the admit card is always sent to the registered email ID of the candidate once the admit card is released. Candidates can retrieve the admit card and print a copy.

  • What are the documents to be carried along with NEET UG admit card to the examination?

The documents that are mandatory along with the admit card on the examination day are:

  • One passport size photograph (same as the one uploaded by the candidate on the NEET UG application form).
  • Anyone of the authorized photo identities—PAN card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhar Card (with a clear photograph)/Ration card.
  • For PwD candidates: carry the PwD certificate issued by the competent authorities.
